Submissions
CollectorsChannel.tv
is looking for People who want to Share Information
We will post videos submitted that talk about History, Rarity
or Condition of any Antique of Collectible.
You can submit in any category, no matter how minute the
niche may appear.
We believe it is important to try to capture the knowledge
you may have spent years attaining.
You may be the real experts in your worlds of collecting.
Share that knowledge with new generations of collectors
… and would-be collectors if they had the info you
hold within your Brain.
New generations of investors, decorators, collectors and
people just nostalgic for a glimpse of a long passed memory
will enjoy your input and you may even benefit from sharing
your knowledge.
Please submit short videos no longer than 4 minutes in length
discussing a single item in detail ... so it can be understood
by the novice viewer ... and still speak with depth of knowledge
expected by the other masters of your fields.
Show all sides of the object so the viewer can see the condition
of the item and any important attributes you may be discussing
while showing the item.
Please make your piece an explanation of its history, or
why you have it, or a funny story about getting it, or a
detailed dissertation on the people who may have used it
or even an analytical discussion of its rarity because of
factors in a marketplace or destruction of other known copies.
At the end of your piece, please clearly describe the Condition
of the exact item you are showing on a One to Ten scale,
with Ten being MINT or UNUSED condition. Then please add
your opinion of its Rarity on the same scale. In our opinion,
Rarity is just an opinion and is noted as only that …
no one knows everything, so rarity can only be an opinion.
Please do not include a DOLLAR VALUE in the video as that
will eliminate it from being used on CollectorsChannel.tv
…. prices change, dollars fluctuate … the points
we want you to present will be able to stand the test of
time … rare is rare and condition is condition …
knowledge is power.
You can include your web address in your piece as an overlay,
or at the beginning or end as a title or credit …
we know that this could help some collectible niches gain
in demand and raise prices … we hope that we can educate
new buyers to be interested in the subjects and products
discussed on CollectorsChannel.tv.
After you have posted your video anywhere you like, please
send us the URL (address) … we will view it and, if
it does NOT include a DOLLAR VALUE we will include it on
CollectorsChannel.tv … feel free to submit as many
as you’d like. Also please include as many Keywords
(tags) that would help find your video on a search engine.
Please email your info to Gary Sohmers at wexrex@aol.com
